Uckfield Bonfire Society gives thanks for 'overwhelming support' and apologises for road closure mistake

Uckfield Carnival and Bonfire Society says it was ‘overwhelmed’ by the support it received at the weekend after having to cancel its firework display and scrap the use of lighted torches at short notice.
